A world repainted

In collaboration with Medonation and BASSMA Foundation Following the devastating explosion in Beirut on August 4th, 2020, and during this period of loving, caring and giving that is Christmas, BMA Paints was committed to helping families in need, in an attempt to sow joy and redraw the light of their smiles. In cooperation with the BASSMA and Medonation foundations, the team set out, body and soul, hoping to support to the extent possible, the victims of the criminal disaster at the Port of the Capital. Facing suffering and beyond false hopes and wishes, those affected by the explosion needed to live Life, Love and Holiday warmth again! That being said, BMA Paints has joined forces with Medonation in their “Dawa Beirut” campaign. This nascent initiative is doing its best to help meet the basic needs of damaged families in Beirut. Together, we mobilized to repaint their world, offering around twenty children BMA Paints buckets filled with drawing, painting and coloring tools ...
But the magic of Christmas does not only enchant children, it encompasses the young and the old ... With a lot of empathy, a sum of money was devoted to domestic purchases intended for more than a hundred families: food, detergents, hygienic provisions ... But the most rewarding in this mission was meeting with these people, the campaign not being virtual, but allowing us direct, moving and very nourishing exchanges. We had the privilege of communicating with members of these families, without failing to respect the barrier gestures and the necessary precautions. The donations were distributed with great enthusiasm, and especially received on site, at home. Likewise, always in a festive and warm atmosphere, BMA Paints joined the BASSMA foundation at the heart of Notre Dame des Anges school in Badaro, aiming to meet around thirty children. BASSMA is a Lebanese non-profit organization with the desire and the will to fight against poverty to improve the socio-economic situation of the most deprived. Reunited, the two teams organized a small gathering during which gifts were given to the kids, celebrating Christmas to the rhythm of their laughter and applause…
Because life, no matter what, must always triumph...
